leave no stone unturned

This illustration refers to the idiom ‘leave no stone unturned’, meaning to be thorough and careful. porcelain crabs, as well as many species of crabs, are small shore crabs that live under and in rock crevices along the Pacific Coast. This piece is inspired by my own experiences collecting crab species for the saltwater tanks in my workplace, as well as paying homage to the collective childhood experience of flipping over rocks at the beach.
